June 21, 2018

MileBot Robotics is fortunate to invite Professor from the Waseda University Institute of Science and Technology in Japan, and also MileBot’s CTO Dr. Ye Jing’s mentor, Mr. Masakatsu Fujie to visit the company offer guidance.

Prof. Masakatsu Fujie IEEE Fellow

Honorary Member of Japan Institute of Mechanical Engineering

Former director of Hitachi Group Research Institute, mainly engaged in medical, intelligent electromechanical systems and other aspects of research.

More than 150 invention patents have been and has won the Harashima Innovation Technology Award from the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

Innovation Technology Award.

Professor Fujie is also a disciple of Ichiro Kato, the father of robots in Japan. On robotics,

Has a wealth of research. Since teaching at Waseda University, he has created a laboratory named after Professor Fujie, and has developed sports rehabilitation robots, mobile support robots, brain tumor removal surgery robots, continuous heartbeat simultaneous bypass surgery robots, organ tumor puncture robots, Fetal congenital tumor removal micro robotic arm, human walking support equipment and many other projects.

During the visit, Dr. Chen Gong, CEO of MileBot Robotics, and Dr. Ye Jing, CTO, introduced several projects currently being developed by the company.

Professor Masakatsu Fujie also expressed his views on various projects. He believes that in the future, such technologies developed by MileBot will bring many conveniences to people. The most important thing is to develop intuitionistic control interface and operation method which is easy to use, so that the machine can adapt to people instead of people to adapt to the machine, in order to meet people’s needs and effectively improve the frequency and willingness of people to use..
