
Milebot Robot Shows Up in Shenzhen International Rehabilitation Forum in 2019
On August 18, 2019 Shenzhen International Rehabilitation Forum was successfully concluded at Felicity Hotel ShenZhen.
As an annual event in the field of rehabilitation medicine, this conference brought together more than 200 experts and professors from China, the United States, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and more than 2,000 elites in the field of rehabilitation medicine across the country scholar.
The conference was organized by the Shenzhen Rehabilitation Medical Association and the Hong Kong Institute of Occupational Therapy. As a co-organizer of the conference, Milebot Robotics organized the ” Milebot Robotics Sub-Forum “. At the sub-forum, the experts dedicated a splendid academic feast for the rehabilitation and related disciplines, with orderly organization and bright spots.
Keynote Speech
Professor Wang Jun, director of the Department of Physiotherapy, Guangdong Industrial Injury Rehabilitation Hospital, gave a keynote speech on “Application Sharing of Intelligent Technology to Reshape Walking Function”. It explained motion control, stroke walking disorder and intelligent technology applications. The “Intelligent Rehabilitation System” of Milebot robot was affirmed and put forward higher requirements.
Researcher and doctoral supervisor professor Fu Chenglong from Southern University of Science and Technology of China delivered a keynote speech entitled “Environmental Sensing and Adaptive Control of Robotized Dynamic Thigh Prostheses”, which analyzed the key technologies of robots and showed their latest research results.
Dr. Chen Gong, CEO of Shenzhen Milebot Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. made a wonderful sharing of “Application of Rehabilitation Training Robots in the Field of Stroke”, expounded the current situation of stroke in China, and took the products developed by the company as an example to everyone. The significance of rehabilitation training robots for accelerating the rehabilitation process of patients was introduced, which provided a broader idea for the innovative design of assistive devices.
Mr. Wang Daoyu, the founder and general manager of Shanghai Zhuodao Medical Technology Co., Ltd., shared the “Research Status and Commercialization Progress of Intelligent Upper Limb Rehabilitation Training Robots” and introduced the intelligent the application of intelligent upper limb rehabilitation training robot in rehabilitation training from various dimensions.

At this annual rehabilitation event in Shenzhen, Milebot Robotics also demonstrated its world-first active exoskeleton robot BEAR-H1 based on compliant actuators.

Participating experts and scholars stopped and watched at the Milebot Robotics’ booth and discussed the characteristics and key technologies of the lower extremity exoskeleton robot with the stuff.
BEAR-H1 is designed and developed based on MileBot’s core technology (robot interaction technology with compliant actuators). It can achieve precise and stable force control, realize the active training mode of patient-robot cooperation, and greatly improve the effect of rehabilitation training. Compared with other exoskeleton robots using rigid actuator, this robot can achieve precise and stable force control. Whether it is from the security, stability, accuracy of force control and human-computer interaction experience are better.
The lower extremity exoskeleton robot is highly intelligent and has more than 30 built-in sensors that can predict and follow the patient’s gait, providing patients with more accurate and professional rehabilitation treatment. At the same time, the robot will collect and record the patient’s training data to provide data basis for the rehabilitation physician to formulate a rehabilitation programs, so as to continuously optimize the rehabilitation treatment programs and accelerate the rehabilitation process.
In this forum, there is both professional knowledge sharing and excellent equipment display, which can be regarded as a academic feast of rehabilitation, which has established a good platform for scholars to learn, communicate and cooperate.
