[Product Launch] MileBot Robotics’ product launch was a complete success
On November 11th, 2017, a special festive day, MileBot Robotics successfully held its first product launch. This is the first official appearance of the entire MileBot’s team. At the same time, it is also the first appearance of the MileBot Robotics’ core product BEAR-H1, a lower limb rehabilitation exoskeleton robot. The young team and advanced product technology have caused a lot of sensation in the industry. And the theme of this conference, “Medical Care in the Same Vein, Extraordinary Step We Take,” also expresses that the MileBot’s team always adhere to the concept of “Technology to Help Walk”, and regard the rehabilitation medical cause its own responsibility!
1.Important Guests Arrive
At this first product launch conference, MileBot Robotics is proud to invite more than 300 people, including leaders of Shenzhen Nanshan District Government, experts in medical and artificial intelligence fields, and media guests, to witness MileBot’s “breaking through human potential and regaining freedom of walking”.
At the press conference, Liu Shiming, the director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Nanshan District, Shenzhen, first made his opening speech. Huang Guozhi, Executive Dean of Rehabilitation Medical College of Southern Medical University, Deng Fudan, Professor of Medicine at Chang Gung University, Liu Yunhui, Professor of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Xu Feng, Chairman of Hanxiang Biomedical, and Liang Ying, Managing Director of Lenovo Venture Capital Focusing on topics such as rehabilitation industry upgrading, artificial intelligence medical treatment, exoskeleton robot market status and development prospects, he not only brought important information to the audience, but also demonstrated the advantages and contributions of MileBot in various fields.
2.MileBot’s Leaders Give a Speech
One of the important reasons that experts and investors are optimistic about the MileBot is the leadership team composed of overseas doctors and senior robot industry practitioners. This young team has not only advanced professional technical knowledge, but also enthusiasm and responsibility for the work. With the efforts of night and day, it took only a little more than a year to realize the update and launch of the third generation products. At the press conference, the three founders explained the current status and vision of the company from three different aspects: company, product, and cooperation.

The speech of Hu Feng, a member of Chinese RFC, COO of MileBot, briefly and powerfully expressed the determination of MileBot to develop and grow.
3.Robot BEAR-H1 Debut
In Dr. Ye’s product exhibition, the exoskeleton robot BEAR-H1 for lower limb rehabilitation was finally unveiled. BEAR-H1, dressed in a handsome white shell and accompanied by exciting music, was slowly pushed onto the stage by two engineers! As the first lower extremity exoskeleton robot BEAR-H1 on the market using compliant actuators and multi-sensor fusion, it caused a sensation to the audience as soon as it came on stage, and took out mobile phones to record this memorable moment. Beyond the advantages of compliant actuators and multiple sensors, BEAR-H1 is also the first lower extremity exoskeleton robot with six active joints (hip, knee and ankle). Compared with the four joints of the common robots on the market, the ankle joints added by BEAR-H1 achieve a more natural gait and better rehabilitation effect.
The project leader personally wore the robot in the subsequent sessions, showing the audience three modes of the robot, namely, weight loss mode, training mode and intelligent mode. The three modes provide different assistance for patients and achieve more targeted rehabilitation treatment. After the product launch, the MileBot Team has entered a new round of research and development, without any slack! Because they know that just launching a product is not enough. Letting such good products be put on the market, so that more patients who are eager to re-stand and walk can get a chance to recover is the biggest wish of the MileBot’s team!
