Milebot Robotics Shows Professional Attraction at Smart China Expo in Chongqing in 2019
The 2019 Smart China Expo (SCE) ended successfully in Chongqing International Exposition Center on August 29.
The 2019 SCE is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, PRC, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, PRC, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. It is a professional event to encourage global exchanges of smart technologies and a high-end platform for in-depth international cooperation of the smart industry.
As an annual rehabilitation exhibition in Chongqing, the 2019 SCE attracts institutions from all over the country, including universities, enterprises and research institutions. As a leader in the rehabilitation exoskeleton robotics industry, Milebot Robotics has the honor to participate in this exhibition and show the latest achievements.
Milebot Robotics demonstrated two products: lower extremity exoskeleton rehabilitation robot BEAR-H1 and lumbar exoskeleton PB-1.
1.Lower extremity exoskeleton rehabilitation robot BEAR-H1
The Lower Extremity Rehabilitation Exoskeleton Robot BEAR-H1 is designed and developed based on the core technology of Milebot (compliant actuators robot interaction technology), which provides rehabilitation training for patients with lower extremity motor dysfunction caused by neurological diseases such as stroke.
The incidence of stroke in China is very high. There are more than 10 million stroke patients, and most of them need rehabilitation training. The research and development of BEAR-H1 is to meet the rehabilitation needs of this group of people. At present, gait rehabilitation training for stroke patients basically depends on manpower. Therapists work intensively, and patients’ standing training is later, which is not conducive to physical recovery. Relying on rehabilitation exoskeleton robots can solve this problem very well. The robots are tireless and can help patients to perform rehabilitation training as soon as possible. Whether for therapists or patients, it will become more easier and more effective to complete gait rehabilitation training.
At the exhibition, this product that provides rehabilitation training for stroke patients has attracted widespread attention from doctors and family members of patients. In the past, the exoskeleton that appeared in people’s vision was almost all foreign products, and it was relatively rare in China. They said, “We look forward to having an exoskeleton robot that can help stroke patients recover. We hope that the development of technology can benefit more patients and help improve their living conditions.”

BEAR-H1, a lower extremity exoskeleton rehabilitation robot, has an active/passive training mode. The robot provides intelligent corrective force. The robot provides intelligent corrective force, which can achieve precise and stable force control, and implements an active training mode of patient-robot collaboration, effectively reducing the therapist’s work intensity and improving rehabilitation training efficiency, promote the reconstruction of patients’ neural circuits, and greatly improve the effect of rehabilitation training.
2.Lumbar exoskeleton PB-1
Lumbar exoskeleton PB-1, it’s a booster device developed by the MileBot Team for laborers engaged in heavy physical work.
Under refined, non-standardized operating scenarios, automated machines are difficult to perform, and manpower is still an indispensable source of productivity in industrial production. However, workers who have been engaged in transportation for a long time often have different degrees of lumbar injuries. The lumbar exoskeleton PB-1 is born to protect the physical health of these manual workers. Work wearing waist exoskeleton can effectively reduce the weight of the waist and protect the lumbar spine.

The lumbar exoskeleton PB-1 can provide 10-15 kg of assistance, effectively reduce the weight of the waist by more than 60% and protect the lumbar muscles.
