[2017 High-tech Fair] Robots occupying the High-tech Fair, MileBot’s Robots Show Up with Peculiar Shape.
22 November 2017
The China International Hi-Tech Fair (referred to as the Hi-Tech Fair) is jointly organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Intellectual Property Office, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Held in Shenzhen, it is currently China’s largest and most influential science and technology exhibition, known as the “China’s first exhibition of science and technology”. Shenzhen MileBot Robotics Technology Co., Ltd., as one of the representatives of innovative high-tech enterprises in Nanshan District, has also become a bright spot in this high-tech fair.
This session of the Hi-Tech Fair once again refreshed its historical record! According to the data released by the Organizing Committee of the China Hi-Tech Fair, a total of 3,049 exhibitors participated in this session of the Hi-Tech Fair, with 1,020 high-tech projects on display. 592,000 visitors from 102 countries and regions visited the main venue and branch venues. The popularity index of professional visitors reached 242, which means that each booth receives an average of 242 professional visitors per day.
Robots can be described as one of the hottest topics in this session of the Hi-Tech Fair. Of the more than 3,000 exhibitors, most of the projects were related to robotics and artificial intelligence. Service robots, early education robots, escort robots, and toy robots are all fascinating. Playing video and music, voice conversation, and simple human-machine interaction have become the characteristics of most robots.
As a “big” and “no cute eyes” robot, the MileBot’s BEAR-H1 robot has taken an unusual path. There is no beautiful “singing throat”, nor a tall touch screen, only a pair of “legs” leading humanity to the future.
No “big cute eyes” but attracted much attention.
Although BEAR-H1 is not as small and cute as a common robot in appearance, his “long legs” are his essence. It is also because of such a pair of “long legs”, which attracted many people’s attention. Many government leaders, industry experts, news media and professionals from all walks of life, including Wang Qiang, Secretary of the Nanshan Party Committee, stopped to watch.

After explaining by the three co-founders of the MileBot Robotics, the leader greatly appreciated the MileBot Robotics. He believed that the medical rehabilitation robot such as the MileBot’s robot is a practical robot that really meets the social development trend and social needs.

Shenzhen Public Channel interviews Hu Feng, COO of of MileBot Robotics
Several media in Shenzhen interviewed the person in charge of the MileBot Robotics and made relevant reports on the MileBot’s robot BEAR-H1 robot.
Can’t speak, but can perform better human-computer interaction
The BEAR-H1 does not have singing or dialogue-like features, but human-computer interaction is one of the biggest highlights of the BEAR-H1. As the first exoskeleton robot in China that uses a compliant actuator, BEAR-H1 can achieve more secure human-machine interaction during the use of the user. At the same time, BEAR-H1 also carries up to 20 sensors. These sensors can effectively record the user’s gait data and communicate it to the control center on the robot, allowing the robot to achieve a more personalized and targeted interaction experience when it interacts with the user.
Engineers wear robots for product demonstrations
However, the most important function of BEAR-H1 is to help patients with lower limb mobility disabilities to carry out rehabilitation training, which is the biggest highlight of BEAR-H1 human-computer interaction. Because the robot was able to allow patients to regain the ability to walk, to help patients regain confidence in life! The patient is not only physically, but also psychologically cure!
